Opportunities to Serve

Each of us in this body have been given so much grace! The Scriptures remind us to be good stewards of this grace. There are several ways that you can steward the grace you have been given through service to this body. Please prayerfully consider these opportunities listed below and see how God might want to use you and these opportunities to fulfill the goals of His grace among us.

“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies – in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.” 1 Peter 4:10-11

Food Bank

Drivers

We need drivers available for a monthly rotation on Thursdays from 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Drivers that are willing to be on call as a substitute for Target pickups on varying days are also needed, as well as drivers to take over a weekly pickup on Tuesday or Friday, once or twice a month. Driving also involves lifting medium weight boxes.

Food Bank

Volunteers

We always need volunteers to minister on Fridays. Our official time is from 4:00-6:00 pm, but we are usually there from 3:30-7:30 pm. If you are unable to come when we begin, we would love to have a group that arrives later and is willing to stay until 7:00-7:30 pm. At 6:00 pm, some volunteers need to leave and there are still those patiently waiting to be served. Assistance with the clean-up process is also welcome.

Usher Ministry

We are looking for enthusiastic, service oriented individuals to become ushers for any of the three services. Short-term commitments are welcome.

Children’s Ministry

If you like adventure, being blessed, and blessing others, join us this summer for Sunday mornings teaching or caring for children in the Children’s Ministry at Grace. Some of our regular volunteers are taking the summer off for some much deserved rest and we need dedicated people to replace them this summer. If you’d like to help us, please stop by the children’s kiosk in the lobby or e-mail [email protected].

CHILDRENS’ MINISTRY

Emergency Response Team

The Emergency Response Team is seeking 10-15 good men and women to serve on its team. Police officers, paramedics, EMTs, firemen, FBI, CIA, doctors, and nurses are encouraged to respond. No weekly commitment required. If you would like to serve in this way, please email the church office at [email protected] and let us know your name, contact information, and field of experience.
