Children’s Ministry

Grace Sunday School classes for ages birth–5th grade are available during both services.  We would love for all children to participate!

In addition to Sunday School classes, children are welcome to join their parents during our 9am or 11am service.

If you have any questions, please email [email protected]. Our Children’s Team will quickly respond. It is our joy to work together to equip your family to grow in your faith.

Teaching children about the greatness and worth of God.

Early Childhood

Birth – Five Years Old

What We Provide

We provide classes for children birth to five years old during both Sunday morning services. Babies receive loving care in the “Nest.” Toddlers enjoy a short time of singing praises and a Bible story, a practice which continues throughout the early childhood classes as we endeavor to teach our youngest ones at Grace about the greatness and might of God. Truth78 (‘Children Desiring God‘) curriculum is used in our classes for children from birth to age 2. Our methods and content level change as children’s ability to understand and attention spans develop. Our preschool curriculum covers lessons from the Old Testament during summer and fall and the New Testament in winter and spring. The Sunday morning schedule for all our classes includes themed play, outside play (weather permitting), the Bible lesson, singing, coloring or a craft and a snack.

Elementary

Kindergarten – Fifth Grade

What We Provide

Our passion for teaching our children about the greatness and goodness of God continues through their elementary years. Each Sunday our elementary children meet together for a time of praise and worship. Following this they go to grade level classes where our dedicated teachers teach interactive lessons.

All elementary classes meet in grade level classes.  They learn from Truth78 (Children Desiring God) curriculum during our 9am service and from Answers in Genesis curriculum at our 11 a.m. services.  Children are welcome to attend both services.

Truth 78 (Children Desiring God) describes their curriculum as existing “to equip the body of Christ to spread to the next generations a passion for the supremacy of God in all things for the joy of all peoples through Jesus Christ. Our aim is to impart to children a vision of God, who He is, and who we are in relation to Him, and to establish them with a foundation of doctrine and truth. We want them biblically grounded, seeing God as the hero of every story, with a God-centered world view and a faith that will hold them when the days of testing come. We want them to love the Lord their God with all their heart, and to delight in Him forever.”
