New fall series in Adult Bible Study: Philippians and Lamentations!

Starting September 7 at 9:00am, ABS will be studying Philippians and Lamentations.

Why couple these two books in one series? Philippians and Lamentations go together chiefly because they are opposites.  Both are characterized by prayer, with Philippians filled with gratitude and joy and Lamentations filled with sorrow and grief.  This covers the spectrum of our lives and shows us how we can pray in any and all circumstances.
