“Safe at Home” Continues

Dear Grace Family,

It was supposed to only last fifteen days. Then the entire month of April was added to the order. Recently, the City of San Francisco extended their “safe at home” precautions to include the first few days of May. When will it end? Right now, I am not sure anyone knows that answer! So, until we hear otherwise, the elders, administrators, and assistants who are headquartered at the Grace office, will continue working off site. That means, even though the office on Santa Gertrudes remains locked

  • Phone calls are still being answered Monday through Friday from 9 am to 4 pm
  • Mail keeps being picked-up and processed
  • Daily, virtual meetings continue being held among our staff

Once the “all clear” signal is issued, we will let you know! Until then, we’ll send out periodic updates.

On behalf of those who normally work at desks located in the Grace office, know that we miss you! We especially miss the busy sounds of, among other things, Tuesday morning Women’s Bible Study, the East Sanctuary remodeling project, and daily Food Bank operations. And speaking of Food Bank, please remember that if you have an emergency need, then please email foodbankleaders@graceevfree.org. Our hard-working Food Bank staff continues to process and distribute assistance to those who are in special need during these days.

May the Lord use this challenging time to help us see and serve this world in ways that make a lasting difference for his kingdom!

Warmly in Christ,

Randy Gruendyke
