Last week we saw Joseph put his brothers through a series of tests to reveal whether or not they had truly changed since the days they had sold him into slavery and lied about his death (Genesis 42-43), and so far it’s looking good. But in Genesis 44-45, we’ll see that Joseph has one final test for them, and as Eric put it last Sunday, “It’s a doozy.”
We encourage you to read ahead! Spend some time this week familiarizing yourself with Genesis 44-45 and ask God, “What do you want me to hear this week? What do you want me to see this week? How do you want to transform me by the renewing of my mind through this passage of Scripture? ”
