What a powerful weekend we just experienced at our More Than Conquerors conference. If you weren’t able to join us, here is a link to the audio of the main sessions.

We were reminded that we have two options of how we will live our lives.

“Those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace (Romans 8:5-6).”

Given the choice between death or life and peace, I think we’d all choose the latter. So the path is then laid out for us. We must set our minds on the things of the Spirit. This is exactly the purpose of our weekly worship gatherings. We meet and pray and sing and hear God’s word preached to set our minds on the things of the Spirit.

This Sunday we return to 1 Corinthians. Jackson Randall will be preaching 1 Corinthians 4:14-21 and Kenny Clark will be leading our time of sung worship. Would you pray for each as they prepare? We encourage you to read the passage ahead of time and reflect prayerfully on it in preparation for worship.

See you Sunday. Let’s come hungry!
