“We are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.” (2 Corinthians 5:20)

Ambassadors are official representatives sent into the world to offer God’s message of reconciliation on behalf of Christ. This means how we engage and evangelize our world is as important, if not more important, than that we engage and evangelize our world. The manner in which we represent Him needs to conform and mirror the message of reconciliation we’ve been entrusted to deliver. How do we engage and evangelize in a manner which glorifies Christ?

Acts 18 helps us answer that question as we see how Paul engaged and evangelized the Jews and Gentiles in Corinth. Kenny Clark will be preaching this Sunday as Cole leads us in sung worship. As you look ahead at Acts 18:1-22, would you pray for each as they prepare? And let’s ask the Spirit to keep conforming us more and more to the gospel of grace so that our manner would match our message as we represent Jesus.

See you Sunday, Grace. Come hungry!

Song of the Week

Christus Victor (Amen) by Keith and Kristyn Getty with Cochren & Co.

Now to the Lamb upon the throne
Be blessing, honor, glory, power
For the battle You have won
Hallelujah!
With every tribe and every tongue
We join the anthem of the angels
In the triumph of the Son
Hallelujah! Amen
