Forty Days of Prayer

Forty Days of Prayer

September 26 – November 2

These days, there are a lot of things to be praying for. Social unrest, Covid-19 uncertainties, and the upcoming elections are just a few of these things. But along with it all, we need to make sure that we’re praying for this:  revival – revival of our love for Christ; revival of our love for each other; revival of our love for the nations.

This fall, over the course of forty days, the Grace Family is invited to pray for revival. This is not an invitation to elaborate prayer events, though there will be meetings for prayer. This is not an invitation to follow a detailed prayer guide, though we will be using the Scripture to help us as we pray. Rather, this is a time when we will be reminded to regularly and thoughtfully pray every day about our world and its great need for Christ.

Throughout our Forty Days of Prayer, the following groups will be gathering on the Grace patio for specific and focused prayer:
  • October 6, 13, 20, 27: All-Church (6:30 a.m. to 7:15 a.m.)
  • October 7: Partners in Prayer (6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.)
  • October 22: Grace Women (5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.)
  • October 28: Grace Men (6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.)
The Forty Days of Prayer will conclude with an all-church gathering on November 2, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., also on the Grace patio.

May the Lord be pleased to answer our prayers for revival as we especially look to him over the next forty days!
