SUNDAY MORNINGS

Grace Sunday School classes for ages birth–5th grade are available during both services. We would love for all children to participate!

In addition to Sunday School classes, children are welcome to join their parents during our 9am or 11am service.

If you have any questions, please email [email protected]. Our Children’s Team will quickly respond. It is our joy to work together to equip your family to grow in your faith.

QUICK LINKS

EARLY CHILDHOOD

Birth to Five Years Old

We provide classes for children birth to five years old during both Sunday morning services. Babies receive loving care in the “Nest.” Toddlers enjoy a short time of singing praises and a Bible story, a practice which continues throughout the early childhood classes as we endeavor to teach our youngest ones at Grace about the greatness and might of God.

Truth78 (Children Desiring God) curriculum is used in our classes for children from birth to age 2. Our methods and content level change as children’s ability to understand and attention spans develop. Our preschool curriculum covers lessons from the Old Testament during summer and fall and the New Testament in winter and spring. The Sunday morning schedule for all our classes includes themed play, outside play (weather permitting), the Bible lesson, singing, coloring or a craft, and a snack.

ELEMENTARY

Kindergarten to Fifth Grade

Our passion for teaching our children about the greatness and goodness of God continues through their elementary years. Each Sunday our elementary children meet together for a time of praise and worship. Following this they go to grade level classes where our dedicated teachers teach interactive lessons.

All elementary classes meet in grade level classes. They learn from Truth78 (Children Desiring God) curriculum during our 9am service and from Answers in Genesis curriculum at our 11am services. Children are welcome to attend both services.

Truth 78 (Children Desiring God) describes their curriculum as existing “to equip the body of Christ to spread to the next generations a passion for the supremacy of God in all things for the joy of all peoples through Jesus Christ. Our aim is to impart to children a vision of God, who He is, and who we are in relation to Him, and to establish them with a foundation of doctrine and truth. We want them biblically grounded, seeing God as the hero of every story, with a God-centered world view and a faith that will hold them when the days of testing come. We want them to love the Lord their God with all their heart, and to delight in Him forever.”

Answers Bible Curriculum brings the Bible to life, covering the entire Bible chronologically in four years (200 lessons), providing a powerful overview of God’s Word. Students of all ages enjoy diving into rich content, memorizing Scripture, and learning how to apply the Bible to their daily lives.

Lessons go through the entire Bible in the order the events actually happened, helping it make sense.  Answers Bible Curriculum is filled with Scripture and encourages believers in their faith, equipping them with answers for a skeptical world.

EVENTS

In addition to Sunday School classes, Grace offers fellowship events on a bi-monthly and seasonal basis. Tumblers Parent Fellowship and Grace Kids Fun in the Sun events aim to deepen ties between Grace families as well as provide an opportunity to invite other families to join us as we “do life” together.

Tumblers Parent Fellowship meets on Grace’s campus twice a month (2nd and 4th Thursdays) from 10:00am – noon in the Owls room. Moms, dads, grandparents, and caregivers are welcome to attend (and bring a friend!) to enjoy unstructured friendly time with each other.

Fun in the Sun events are off campus at destinations such as the beach and El Dorado Nature Center. It’s great to get out and enjoy God’s beautiful creation together! Fun in the Sun(set) evening gatherings meet at Grace as families enjoy our beautiful playgrounds, break out the picnic gear, and celebrate the joys of church family life.

Seasonal events for families include Easter Experience (scheduled for the Saturday a week before Easter) and Advent Event (scheduled for the Saturday before Thanksgiving). Reaching out to the community with the true “reason for the season” is always our goal at these events! We welcome visitors to join us for crafts, storytelling, music, and kid-friendly food. In addition to the activities on site, families will go home with resources to help them celebrate the season worshipfully at home.

Adventure Week (Grace’s VBS, typically scheduled in June) is a highlight of the year. Don’t miss this special week of evening fun which includes the Gospel message told through skits, music, crafts, games, and Bible stories. Family dinners, Parent Cafe, and a preschool program make this a great week for the whole family!

Save the date for 2026 Adventure Week: June 15-19, 2026.
