Happy New Year, Grace family!

We are starting off 2026 with a guest preacher. PJ Davis and his wife, Allison, were members here at Grace from 2013 to 2018 before moving up north to pastor a church on the central coast. During his years at Grace, PJ taught the Bible and oversaw our Grace counseling ministry for a time. PJ and Allison have five children, the oldest of whom, Maddie, will be getting married this summer.
PJ will be preaching Matthew 7:24-27.
“Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.”
Special Evening Reading Service – January 4 at 5pm
On the evening of January 4, we will kick off our next sermon series, Greater than All Gods: Exodus, Part One with a reading service of Exodus chapters 1-18. This will be in lieu of our usual monthly Lord’s Supper service and family time. Childcare will be provided from nursery through second grade (including a light kid-friendly dinner) and we will break halfway through for a short intermission.

See you Sunday, Grace. Come hungry!
Deliver Us written by Andrew Peterson, sung by Scott Mulvahill
Our enemy, our captor
Is no pharaoh on the Nile
Our toil is neither mud nor brick nor sand
Our ankles bear no calluses from chains
Yet Lord, we're bound
Imprisoned here, we dwell in our own land
Deliver us, deliver us
Oh Yahweh, hear our cry
And gather us beneath Your wings tonight
